Prayer & Legacy

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Thank you for honoring Justin. Through your prayers and support, a memorial endowment has been established at Valley Christian High School, in Chandler Arizona, in Justin’s honor, where Justin graduated in 2007. The Justin Kyle Lett “Dream Then Do in the Name of the Lord, Memorial Scholarship” was established at VCHS in 2018, and is awarded to a new student each year. Current Valley students are encourged to apply between November 1st and January 31st, and details on the application process can be found on the VCHS website, valleychristianaz.org/dreamthendoscholarship.com

In 2018, a memorial endowment scholarship was established at Samford University, where Justin graduated in 2011 with a double major in marketing and entrepreneurship.

Thank you for loving and living for Jesus each day, dreaming and doing in the name of the Lord, honoring God and Justin with your life and testimony. You are a tremendous blessing.

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:12-13

In God’s Hands

In God’s Hands

He was a true man of God. A servant to all the people he came across. He gave so effortlessly, and wouldn’t take anything that he didn’t earn. He loved purely with all his heart and sole. He never blamed, nor hated, or betrayed. He found the positive in any situation, and the good in everyone’s heart. He never took a single thing for granted, and lived every second of every day to the absolute fullest. He was my teammate, my best friend, and my brother. I will always look up to him. This world would be an extraordinarily beautiful place if we all #LiveLikeLett. His legacy will live on forever.

-Love, Rob Brown

We love you Justin. Justin Lett was a young man truly set apart. As witnessed and experienced by the innumerable amount of family and friends that will forever love him, Justin’s life on this earth, rooted in his love for Jesus and passion for people, radiated through his speech, his actions, his mind and his creativity. To all who knew him personally, and to those who will hear his story, the calling on Justin’s life is unmistakable. It is the friendships, the conversations, the triumphs, shared memories and the love, outliving us all and of eternal consequence, that distinguishes Justin, and helps make bearable his pre-mature passing into Heaven. For those of us who knew Justin, and those who will learn of him in the years to come, we are all blessed indeed, to know Justin, to love Justin, and to be loved by him. As promised by our God, we will see Justin again. And as our days pass by on earth, we can cling to that promise in faith, knowing that God is true to His word and that Jesus and our loved ones gone before us are awaiting us in Heaven, yet living inside of us until our time comes, and we too are called home. Justin knew and loved his Lord mightily, a walk only made possible through the Gospel, and Christ’s saving love for humanity. And from this relationship springs forth the source of our hope, and the foundation of Justin’s testimony, as evidenced in his personality, his joyous and vibrant spirit, his smile and inescapable brilliance; a light shining on a path for future generations to follow; a young man’s testimony of real and authentic love, for God and for people. The endowment in Justin’s name at Samford University and Valley Christian High School, the Justin Kyle Lett, “Dream Then Do in the Name of the Lord,” Memorial Scholarship, exists to glorify God and honor Justin’s life, by annually blessing a like-minded student of faith, who exemplifies the same internal drive, an urgency and ambition to dream big, dream often, and courageously pursue such dreams to honor God through the calling and gifts God has given them. Through the Samford and VCHS endowments we praise and revere God and His saving work on the cross. Through these scholarships we affirm the annual recipients following in Justin’s footsteps of compassion, kindness, inspiration, and extraordinary dedication. And through this privilege to bless and serve others in honor of God and Justin, we celebrate God’s triumph over the grave through His Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We praise God for Justin’s life, the beautiful person that he was, and for the privilege of knowing him, this side of Glory. Untouchable is Justin’s legacy, held safe within God’s hands, that in twenty-eight years, has made a lifetime of love, joy and Kingdom impact, with a sincerity, originality, authenticity, and honesty, that will love on in fullness and without end; forever carried within God’s grace and power, as a beautiful life and light burning for Christ, for all to see, evidenced by the fearless love of Justin’s heart and the generosity of his soul. Soli Deo gloria.

As children of God, we believe that Jesus died and was raised again to life, that through His life, death and resurrection, His blood has paid for our sins and paid the cost that we each owe, to therefore be in right standing with God and to enter into a saving faith relationship and fellowship with Jesus. We believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring with Him the believers who have passed before us, (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14). The passing of our loved ones is not the end of our relationship with them, but merely an interruption. We have not lost them, and they have not lost us because we know where they are. They are with God. Justin is in Heaven. He is experiencing the joy of Christ's presence in a place so wonderful that Christ called it paradise. Our everlasting hope is in Jesus Christ. Until we see you again Justin, our Lord God will comfort us with His perfect love, peace and truth, hope and wisdom, mercy and amazing grace. Thank you God for your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. We love you Lord Jesus!

Soli Deo gloria. Philippians 3:13-14
